In 1996 Willie and Caren became missionaries with Campus Crusade for Christ International (CCCI) and served with them until 2009. During this time they led a community ministry team in Riga, Latvia, worked at CCCI’s headquarters in Orlando Florida and served since 2004 from Europe (France and later Germany) as the Member Care Director for North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. Willie gained extensive international experience serving and caring for 1200 workers in 29 countries like France, Spain, Norway, Morocco, Tunisia, Jordan, UAE, Lebanon, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Turkey, West Bank, Sudan, Israel and Egypt etc.  They joined Godspeed Resources Connection as consultants in 2009 and relocated back to Namibia Africa in 2011 where they have expanded GRC’s services to southern Africa and recommenced their private practices as a Clinical/Pastoral/Consulting Psychologist and a Physical Therapist respectively. The have recently joined Ripe For Harvest in the same capacity. Willie is a registered and licensed Clinical Psychologist with the Health Professions Councils of South Africa and Namibia. In 2010 he obtained his doctoral degree (DMin) [Applied Theology/Psychology] from the Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando USA.  His dissertation has been published in 2011 under the title “A Transferable Employee Retention Model” (Non Toxic Leadership Teams and Organizational Cultures Result in a Higher Retention of Employees)

Willie’s experience over the last 31 years in different geographical and cultural settings (Southern Africa, USA, Western and Eastern Europe, Middle East, Central Asia and Northern Africa) in secular as well as faith-based corporate environments (mining industry, small business development, private practice, management consultant, member care director) has given him a profound understanding of the unique difficulties that accompany cross cultural individual/family/organizational dynamics. His training and experience have also gifted him with the ability to gauge the appropriate level of intervention that each unique situation requires for the effective, long lasting resolution of individual/couples/team/organizational conflicts/developments to be achieved. Willie is passionate about the discovery and realization of human talent and highly values the development of healthy organizational leaders, leadership teams and corporate cultures. His multidisciplinary holistic intervention approach necessitates working in liaison with a variety of medical/paramedical professionals, organizational leadership, family members and other consultants.

Caren and Willie have two adult sons, Ruco the oldest married to our wonderful daughter-in-awe Kristi and they live in Washington DC and Hugo our youngest who is serving with the US Peace Corps in China.
