Ron & Thelma Thompson moved to Limestone, TN in 2009. Thelma is presently a bookkeeper for Ripe for Harvest, a position she has held since October 1999. Ron is semi-retired from more than 50 years in ministry as an evangelist, pastor. and musician. He is available for pulpit supply as opportunities arise. Ron works part-time for Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home in Jonesborough, TN and often conducts funeral services for families who do not have a pastor. Ron plays piano and keyboard and regularly provides music at the Fountain of Life Bible Church in Johnson City, TN and elsewhere in other churches when invited. He also assists Thelma in the Ripe for Harvest office in their home. Ron and Thelma have 2 daughters: 1. Mrs. Douglas (Evangeline) Hales of Lynchburg, VA who is involved in music at Thomas Road Baptist Church as well as the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra. Douglas and Angie have 2 children: Jessica and Zachary. 2. Mrs. Kent (Melody) Archer of Limestone, TN who is a Doctor of Education and serves as the Administrator of Tri-Cities Christian Schools in Blountville, TN. Kent and Melody have 2 children: Magan and Camilla.
